This is a wonderful 50s prom dress / ball gown- the lady from whom I acquired it told me that it was her mother's and that it dated to 1954. The dress was manufactured by the Perfect Junior Formal Ltd. company of Toronto and sold at Holt Renfrew and Company Limited, a Canadian boutique type department store that sells only designer and luxury fashion and wares
It features a V-neckline with sheer illusion panels and long sheer sleeves decorated with floral embroidery
